the perfect choice for those who are in need of substance abuse treatment. We are
available to help meet your needs and offer a full rehabilitation treatment to you or your
loved one. Drug rehabilitation is a step-by-step process and we will guide you through
The first step in the process involves choice and this is the most important choice
because without it, there is no hope for a full recovery. An individual must make a
decision between recovery and renewal or the continuation of drugs and alcohol. That
road splits off here, there is no middle ground. The best way to make this decision is by
doing some research. The thought of drug rehabilitation can be intimidating and leave a
person feeling vulnerable. Cedar Point Recovery offers our clients a customized
treatment program that will meet their needs as well as a 12-step program. We also offer
individual, family, and group counseling. These are all therapeutic sessions to calm a
client emotionally and mentally so that the body can heal too.
It is our goal here at Cedar Point Recovery to help our clients regain control over their
The second step in the process is to complete an intake. We will get started with a short
phone interview, better known as an assessment to define the severity of addiction,
family and drug history and current substance abuse. Completing an intake will help our
staff to define the right treatment plan for our clients.
During the intake, we will also discuss financial arrangements. Cedar Point Recovery
accepts major insurance plans and offers various affordable treatment options. Since
each client is different, each financial agreement differs too. We want to meet the one
that fits you best.
We are passionate about quality healthcare and recovery here at Cedar Point Recovery.
Our licensed and certified alcohol and drug treatment professionals and the rest of our
staff work hard to help our clients meet their recovery goals. We use every resource
available to allow us to meet the emotional, mental, physical and spiritual needs of each
one of our clients.
Cedar Point Recovery offers many different options when it comes to drug and alcohol
treatment. There are also the next steps in a client’s recovery:
This process starts with Detox so that a client can be cleansed of all drugs or alcohol
before treatment can began.
At Cedar Point Recovery, our RTC programs generally last for 30-90 days. During
which, our clients will begin to heal through a series of different therapies while also
learning to live and cope with life in a whole new way. RTC is about finding the root of
drug or alcohol addiction and cognitive therapy is used to find it.
Counseling is completed in three different ways from individual to group to family. All
of which has their own unique goals, prevention steps, healing methods and recovery
Cedar Point Recovery encourages our client’s family to be a significant part of the
recovery process. This not only helps to resolve family issues but also helps the
transition period from rehabilitation back into everyday life.
Our PHP program is a transitioning step from rehabilitation to everyday life outside of
the facility. It will take place at the facility 5-7 days a week, for 6 hours a day. This is a
treatment option that helps our clients to slowly settle into their new lives while still
providing support and assistance.
Here at Cedar Point Recovery, we understand that drug and/or alcohol rehabilitation
can feel overwhelming and we want to see our clients successful in their recovery.
Therefore, we offer IO, an intensive outpatient program that takes place at the facility 3
days a week, 3 hours a day. IOP is designed for further transitioning while also focusing
more on group therapy. It is a precursor to support groups.
Sober Living Homes
After a client is released from our treatment center, the world can seem like a very big,
overwhelming place to be. After having structure and a family-like unit during
rehabilitation, it can provide a sense of insecurity. Our main objective here at Cedar
Point Recovery is to help you with your recovery which means we don’t want to see our
clients relapse. A sober living home is a step in the right direction for our clients who do
not have a strong support system within their friends or family members. Not only do
these homes provide job programs, they also offer drug tests periodically to ensure that
other housemates are clean and sober.
There is no cure to drug or alcohol addiction, there is only recovery and its ongoing
process. Support groups are a huge help when it comes to staying sober and there are
meetings frequently to ensure that people stay on the right track. Sponsors are also
available to call when relapse appears to be manifesting. Cedar Point Recovery offers
aftercare strategies through our counselors as well. This is called our ongoing
monitoring program and is designed to help our clients with their continuous recovery
by preventing a relapse.
