What is SEO for Rehab Centers?

Search Engine Optimization, or “SEO” as the industry experts call it, is the practice of creating and optimizing content in a way that Google and other search engines list you with a high ranking on their search engine results page.

So, your next step is to make your SEO a little more focused and instead target a phrase like “Drug Rehab Center in Florida”.  While no one can ever guarantee that you’ll rank on the first page of a search engine for any phrase, you have a much better chance of ranking for this phrase because it’s much more specific and makes your search engine competitors mainly other drug rehab centers in Florida.  The number of searches for the phrase will be less than “Drug Rehab Center”, but can still get you some great results if done correctly.

The last step, if the previous one didn’t work, is to refine your SEO strategy even more and focus on a phrase like “Drug Rehab Center in Sarasota Florida”.  By doing this, you have made your search term even more specific and are mainly competing with the other drug rehab centers and drug rehab related facilities in Sarasota, Florida.

You see how that works?  The more specific you get with your SEO phrases, the more likely you are to rank in the Search Engines.  The tradeoff is that the more specific your SEO phrases are, the less search volume there is.

But don’t be fooled, low search volumes aren’t a terrible thing.  For instance, if you create 10 blog posts and every month 100 people go to each post, that’s 1,000 extra website visitors!
